Villa Albarella sits on the quiet lagoon side of Isola Albarella — a private, gated island 75 minutes from Venice. The pool faces the Adriatic lagoon. The fenced garden backs onto open green space. The island strongly promotes cycling and golf carts over cars — it is well-regulated, quiet, and genuinely unhurried. The pace of life changes from the first evening.
The private pool is the centrepiece of outdoor life at the villa — open from April through October, with comfortable swimming from late May through mid-September. As with any private pool, we ask that parents keep an eye on young children around the water. The fenced garden surrounding the pool is enclosed and safe for children to play in freely. Sun loungers, outdoor shower, and a BBQ area complete the picture. The lagoon view is there at every hour: pink at sunrise, gold at sunset, quiet dark blue after dinner.
Three bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom — nobody shares. The master bedroom has a king bed, lagoon-facing windows, and its own bath. The second bedroom on the upper floor has a terrace with views. The third bedroom on the ground floor is quieter and cooler — perfect for children or guests who prefer a separate wing. All rooms have blackout shutters, quality linen, and independent air conditioning.
A fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, dishwasher, Nespresso (capsules included), and all essentials for a family stay. Open living and dining area that connects directly to the terrace and garden. Smart TV with Netflix. High-speed WiFi throughout. Outdoor dining table seats six comfortably.

Albarella is a private, gated island — only residents and registered guests may enter through the security gate. It is quiet, safe, and self-contained: no through traffic, no uninvited visitors, just the lagoon and the Adriatic. The island is well-regulated — cars are permitted but strongly de-emphasised in favour of bicycles and golf carts, keeping the roads calm and the air clean. Within a few minutes by golf cart or bicycle: pristine Adriatic beaches, an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, horse riding, sailing and scuba diving lessons, beach volleyball, swimming lessons, a playground, and a small animal park for children. In the evenings, baby dance sessions, discos, and live entertainment run throughout the season. A supermarket, a bakery, shopping outlets, and over ten restaurants and bars mean you need not leave the island at all if you don't want to. The Po Delta Nature Park — a UNESCO-listed wetland reserve — borders the island directly.
